Don’t Waste House’s Time With Trivial Things

What would song parodies be without Julie Andrews and “The Sound of Music?” Perish the thought. LOL Here’s another look at the tune “My Favorite Things.” Link to original song lyrics: http://www.countrygoldusa.com/my_favorite_things.asp

“Don’t Waste House’s Time With Trivial Things”

Skinned knees aren’t as life threatening as the public supposes

Toothless toddlers and adorable kittens

Have more merit than all those

Patients who want to see him

About bunions and pedestrian ills

Clients call just to make his telephone ring

Gregory House has no time for such trivial things

Orange coloured Yuppies

And cheating wives who cuddle

Neighbours with contagious viruses

Make House use his noodle

But patients show up at the walk-in clinic with sniffles or if their ears ring

‘Monkeys with Motrin’ could treat such commonplace things

Doctors in lab coats make their best guesses

About symptoms like quickly spreading mysterious rashes

While House just blinks his eyelashes

He lets them remove MP3 players and splinters

Watching “General Hospital” clarity brings

And solving intricate mysteries is a pleasurable thing

When something’s not right

House’s words sting

When his pain’s bad

He just does something

Wickedly funny and then he doesn’t feel so sad

Bleeding noses and fake letters written

To get him to treat patients and old women who are smitten

By his dashing good looks and hip trendy clothes

He doesn’t have time for any of those

Diagnosing rare disorders and diseases is his thing

So don’t bother him with a case of halitosis that’s bad
