Tracking Time

A/N: Here’s a fic that became something much longer and more complex than I ever imagined when I began it: A look at House and Wilson’s friendship and how it developed, with glimpses and points of their lives over the past eight years or so.

With much help to Auditrix for her suggetions and betas and the folks at HT&M for their feedback as I was writing it.

For folks who read it as a WIP, there are a few minor changes and a couple of added lines, paragraphs and even a new scene or two.

Come True

Date Finished: January 2006

SUMMARY: A character study of Cuddy and how her world has changed her since college, and how she has changed her world.

A/N: Something different for me, a story in which House and Wilson are in the background. I wanted to do something though taking a good look at Cuddy, and the opening line came to me one morning at 12:30 a.m. when I was trying to fall asleep.

Many thanks as always to Auditrix for the beta and the priceless feedback, and the Ann Arbor District Library for its fine collection of children’s books, which proved to be a great source for this story.

The Masterpiece Collection

A/N: Produced as a writing exercise, using the provided prompt: “Gimme,” House said and plucked the meal check from Wilson’s hand. “Did the earth just start rotating backward?” Wilson asked.

I also decided to challenge myself by limiting my writing time to 45 minutes, with a max of 30 minutes for re-write and edit, since short and simple is not my typical style. It takes place at the end of "Safe."
